Comedy is both a pressure release valve, and a bright spotlight on unpleasant truths. Mockery is incredibly powerful at highlighting obvious untruths and nonsense ideologies. This is desperately needed these days, and I admit I have a weird sense of humor, but I love it when people laugh, and I hope you can take a few minutes of your crazy busy day and enjoy some funny content I’ve come across recently.

I’m a big fan of standup comedy, especially these days when we’re constantly being reminded that our freedoms are being stripped, and lately I’ve been watching a lot of Israeli comedy. There’s a great weekly comedy show in Tel Aviv called Funny Monday. The main two hosts, Shachar and Yohay perform, as well as two guest comedians each week. They perform in English, and in this week’s show, Yohay tore apart the vaccine narrative with amazing comedy. (heads up - some of the other acts are VERY spicy. Watch at your own risk. Hence, comedy).
Our reality is actually the theater of the absurd, and Ben Shapiro had the best response to the Jussie Smollet verdict.
One more because again - theater of the absurd, and the President and the Vice President are engaged in an open cold war that’s both hilarious and terrifying.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Thanks, Etana! The CDC Infographic made me snort with laughter!😂 Comedy GOLD.
Thank you, Etana! I needed some laughter after this bleak news from Glenn Greenwald: https://greenwald.substack.com/p/julian-assange-loses-appeal-british/
