Here we go! Israel just announced that starting this Friday, pending final gov’t approval, people will need a Green Pass to enter malls, and then they’ll be presented with a bracelet they must wear. If you don’t have a Green Pass but you need an “essential” service located in the mall, you don’t get a bracelet and you can’t shop in “non-essential” stores. Obviously, this is absurd, and in my opinion the govt is way overplaying their hand. There are far fewer Israelis who are vaccinated and returning for boosters than they’d like. The children’s vaccination campaign is a lot slower than they’d like. Parents aren’t buying it, young adults are saying screw it to the booster, and note to Israelis reading this- prepare for a major ramp up of protests and civil disobedience.
Millions of Israelis have the clear gold star standard of immunity - natural, untouched by the vaccine. The Green Pass and segregating shoppers by colored bracelets is immoral, discriminatory, anti-science and tyrannical.
If you care AT ALL about the freedom to make your own personal risk calculations regarding a medical procedure that's still in clinical trials, then it’s time to start shifting your thinking away from trusting those in charge of making decisions about "public health" and start worrying about how your children will without a doubt grow up in a world of medical tyranny and no personal rights. This is a slippery slope that's already crossed too many red lines.
You either know history, or you trust your government.
I hope the control freaks lose power soon for the damage and suffering they've inflicted on their people with these ridiculous rules that they’ve admitted do not work.
If you're one of the silent people who secretly agrees with me, the only reason this insanity is still going on is not because everyone is still afraid of the virus- it's because most people who think the rules are ridiculous comply anyway because it's easier. It’s time for us to remind the govt that they work for us, not the other way around, or this will never end.
/end rant
AMEN. #imsayingno
"It’s time for us to remind the govt that they work for us, not the other way around, or this will never end." How? Gandhi's way? The govs are afraid it might work better just getting back to normal and they oppose dearly. Should we just behave as everything is back to normal? Is just overwhelming the mall barriers a solution?
