Yet here in Israel on this day the 24th of Jan 2022 the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee is discussing the final details of the law that will turn Israel into a dictatorship.
What's in the law?
▪️ Abolition of Knesset authority and separation of powers (as defined in Wikipedia: is a system of government in which the state is ruled by a single person or a minority group of people centralized, without separation of powers, so that the dictator (dictator) controls the three governing bodies: the legislature, the judiciary And the executive branch.)
▪️A legal obligation to perform corona tests under conditions to be determined by the government. Refusal = a criminal offense
▪️Amnestic closure order for a place that will not require a negative inspection before entering the business
▪️Restriction of gatherings in private spaces
▪️Restriction of gatherings in public spaces
▪️Insulation in isolation facilities at the expense of citizens returning from abroad
▪️Transfer private medical information of our children to school principals
▪️Technological supervision of insulators
▪️ Restrictions on holding events
And more ...
If this law is passed it will mean the end of any pretence of democracy in the only Jewish state. We will become a full fledged dictatorship with ID cards, secret services and tracking surveillance technology all in place and ready to be operationalised against its own citizens.
Right now that applies to all those with fewer than 3 shots ie about half the population.

How can this country's leaders, in the overwhelming evidence of the failure of the vaccines and the historical record of genocide of their people, tell parents to vaccinate their children. It is a crime! It is SINFUL!

I know it's bad elsewhere as well, but because you guys were out of the starting gates so fast, the consequences are being felt so much quicker and more acutely. It is terrifying to see how it is backfiring so badly, and to hear of the doubling and tripling down. I'm not religious in any organised way, as I've mused elsewhere on Substack, but find myself praying a lot these days. Strength and love to you all, and for all of us.
One easy thing everyone can do is to write to your elected officials - at every level - asking them to oppose and/or ban vaccine mandates. For the most part, you can cut and paste letters, so it does not take long. I have worked for elected officials and know that letters DO matter to them! Then share your letter with like-minded friends and suggest they do the same.
A technical note: These days most elected officials have you fill out a web form. Just google "Contact [Name of elected official]" and you will find it.
Well, that all made me feel better. Pity Australia (and New Zealand) don't seem to have got the memo - down here it's still 'Covid This' and 'Covid That' and 'One Booster, Two Booster, Three Booster, Four'. Probably due to our utterly barmy Zero Covid fixation of yore which seems to have given us a hangover as we get our Covid thrills by giving the 'anti-vaxxers' a good kicking at every opportunity, including delivering the head of the World No. 1 tennis player on a plate to sate the bloodlust of the True Vaxx Believers.
Still, enough 'pessimism of the intellect'. Could we have some more 'optimism of the will', please.
I'm against violence, but when you treat human beings like slaves in a cage, I'm not upset that they bite back.
These officials are cowards and their enforcers are equally shit.
