Dr Offit has huge conflicts of interest.

He also exhibits signs of sociopathy.

He's a modern day Dr Mengele

I’ve got to agree with Rob(c137). Offit and too many other “educated professionals” are extremely ignorant of their own ignorance.

But since they don’t know how misguided they are within their own paradigm, they have enormous confidence in condescendingly advising their patients along with all the “common folks “.

Here’s my theory on Offitt

Because he directly benefits financially from the pediatric vaccine he developed … rotavirus… which has harmed a lot of kids- actually…. he’s trying to distance himself from the covid vaccine debacle because he doesn’t want it to disrupt his own pediatric vaccine cash cow… that’s how these people work.

It’s never about health with these people

It’s about how they can profit off people

Bluntly, the guy has an irretrievable case of $ reinforced hubris. He abandoned ethics and science for politics and commerce. The obvious question was not asked: how many shots did he take?

Studies (troponins and d-dimer) indicate the rates of myocardial effects and vascular perturbation encompass a majority of mRNA/LNP recipients.

I tried using Dr. Offit as a tether while I read the books anti-vaxxer put foreword as there strongest arguments. Dissolving Illusions. Turtles all the Way Down. Toby Rogers' thesis on the Political Economy of Autism vs. Offit's history of vaccination (an homage to Maurice Hillman) And the first part of Autism's false Prophets. I had to stop on False Prophets as the condescending paternalism while ignoring the concept of informed consent was too much for me. My tether was cut. If Offit is the best actual argumentation against real concerns of anti-vaxxers then I think we need to audit the entire schedule.

Agree 💯

Never had much of an opinion on vaccinations until about ten years ago, when I started becoming aware of the actual HISTORY of vaccinations, etc... Now I am 💯 convinced that it has been perhaps THE worst medical atrocity perpetrated on Humanity EVER! Including the last 3 years, but also everything leading up to covid and the massive brainwashing of the vast majority of humans with regard to "regular" vaccinations...

I hum the tune from the musical South Pacific--You Have to be Carefully Taught. That’s what has happened. I was carefully taught but had my eyes opened . I’m 75 and have had only had about 2 flu shots in my life mostly because I would forget and I’m extremely healthy. No Covid jabs. I last had flu in 1998. My last real bad cold in 2017. My Covid experience was way milder than that cold. Unfortunately my only grandchild gets them all and I believe has neural damage from the HPV around 11 yo. Don’t let anyone get those. They are useless, dangerous but profitable for pHARMa.

I've had flu maybe twice in my long life. Never jabbed for it. Now, armed with ivermectin and knowledge gained during the pharma overreach of covid I can say I'll never take another shot.

I have eight nieces, and at least four have been covid jabbed and boosted. Of those four, two developed POTS. Their mother, also thrice jabbed, developed what's been diagnosed as "vestibular migraine". I pleaded with them not to take the vaxxxines. Seeing what they've gone through is heartbreaking.

they make it hell to take that stance. I hear they have aluminum free vaccines for pets though. So that's nice. I'd be cursious about the vaccination records of pets of those in the vaccine industry vs those of the anti-vaxxer crowd. Friendly bet type deal

I refused the last shots (bordetella and something else) pushed for my 10 year old German Shepherd bitch. I did accept a rabies shot for her.

Last well visit to my primary doc she chatted with me about my health for a few minutes then left. A nurse came in to give me Shingrix and Pneumovax. She had the syringes all ready. I thanked her and said no. I'll never take another jab. It's a racket. A very lethal racket.

I just tell them I get the jabs at Walmart and walk out. Of course I don’t.

In my state of Maryland there is an "immunization registry". Every jab you take will be visible to medical professionals. Unless you "opt out", which I did. Many states have such a database, and may offer an opt out. It's worth doing.

I have a form for that but a reliable source says it could be used against you. I just prefer to be under the radar at the moment. I see an independent functional medicine doc with no attachment to system medical records. A system would need my permission to access her records.

The nurse wandering in "fully loaded" is simply another form of doctors coercing their patients.

You need a new doctor.

You're dead right about that. Only one of the doctors I know refused more than one covid shot. The rest are all in favor of vaccines. So finding one who sees through the pharma barrage of bullshit isn't easy. But I'm looking.

Maybe those doctors Cory and McCullough have lists of doctors on their websites who believe in patient care and not in filling their wallets at the expense of their actual employer's, i.e. the patient's, health.

Well done, Etana! I really appreciate your holding these powerful medical voices accountable. It seems some of these doctors tried to have it both ways.

Another case I never quite understood was Vinay Prasad, who concluded rather early in the C19 vaccine's development that it was definitely going to be safe for the long term, despite the fact that the clinical trials only provided two or three months of a valid control group -- and then the control group was also vaccinated!

And Vinay Prasad is normally adamant about RCTs to establish benefits of drugs. But not safety. For some reasons I personally do not understand, Prasad and Offit concluded quite early that long term safety concerns were not going to be an issue.

Then Israeli researchers let the world know about myocarditis risks. And only then did Prasad start to qualify his safety appraisals. They were over confident in the agencies and big pharma. And they should admit that now. They should scream it from the mountaintops.

I quit listening to Prasad fairly early also. He’s come around some but I wouldn’t trust him either.

Anon38901932047's avatar

He's done interesting videos where he criticized the CDC and Walensky quite heavily for failing to use scientific evidence in their recommendations, but he also seems to think that the vaccines were a marvel and a major scientific accomplishment and have very little risk -- even though we lack strong, affirmative RCTs and other rigorous studies to positively demonstrate their safety.

Prasad seemed content in 2020 and 2021 to rely on the "safety signal" system which was supposedly being maintained and monitored by the CDC even though the CDC failed to notice or publicize the myocarditis problem. And he knows that.
